Match Report: Bangor Grammar School 0-31 Wallace High School
Bangor Grammar School vs Wallace High School
After a three weeks on the road, Bangor Grammar School's 1st XV hosted Wallace High School of Lisburn on Saturday at Gransha Road.
In the first twenty minutes, there was little to choose between both sides, as the scoreboard remained pointless. In that time, both Conor Lusty, Finn Ritchie and Angus Christie came close to scoring tries for Bangor, but dropped passes wasted any scoring chances.
As the match drew on, Wallace looked more and more in control. By half time they were three tries in front.
In the second period, heavy rain enveloped the pitch, but had little impact on the outcome of the match. Wallace scored twice more and were comfortable winners. Bangor had chances again late on, but couldn't break their duck.
There is room for improvement in the Bangor camp, as they prepare to welcome Dromore High School to North Down next Saturday.
