Match Preview: Bangor Grammar School vs Ballyclare High School - 15/11/2014

Bangor Grammar School vs Ballyclare High School

Last week, BGS had a lucky escape against Belfast Royal Academy coming away with a late and narrow win. This time, Ballyclare are the opponents, in what is only Bangor's second Saturday morning home game of the season. Last year, a sole Ross McCloskey penalty was not enough to bring the win back to Bangor, but with home support behind the blues, there might be a different outcome this time around.

Match Preview

BGS's late win over BRA last week takes them to a more respectable Played 8 - Won 3 - Lost 5, but even still it's not what the Bangor side would have hoped for this stage in the season. But what better opportunity is to make ammends than by beating Ballyclare?

Ballyclare themselves have had a flying start to the new season, as of November the 1st, the Co. Antrim side had only suffered 2 defeats from seven games - to Campbell and RBAI. The hight point for the team coming in their 19-5 home win over Sullivan.

On current form, you would expect Ballyclare to win tomorrow, but who knows for sure what will happen exactly?

Team News

El Capitano, Adam Brennan (Abscess Wound) is still on the sidelines, and it's exactly the same side who will line up as last week in Belfast.
